Every track on this album was recorded and edited only using Garage Band iOS on an iPhone. That does not mean that any less work went into making this recording, but I was interested in seeing what was possible using only my cell phone. However, when uploading the recordings and setting up BandCamp for this first time, I did use a desktop computer since I needed access to editing photos to a very specific number of pixels to work on this website. And, I couldn't figure out how to get the sound files uploaded from my iPhone to BandCamp without so many work-arounds.

Just a few days after making this available, I heard from Roxanne who helped care for Mom and still helps Dad:

"I've been at the hospital since last evening with my father-in-law for some iv antibiotics. Looks like he will be ok and get to go home tomorrow. Some of you know he also suffers from dementia so you can imagine this has been a stressful situation for him. Thankfully they have been allowing me to stay the night with him as he needs continual care and attention. He has not slept since he got up early yesterday morning.

This evening, when I got here to relieve my MIL, he was super agitated and confused. Then Steve and his new harp album came to the rescue! What amazing timing for him to make that and give us access to it!

I turned that on and dimmed the lights and by the second time through my father-in-law was laying in bed calmly and humming along. I watched the peace come over him and miraculously he is finally restfully sleeping without the use of sedatives or medications. Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us Steve. There is some magic in what you do. I've seen it when you play for the residents in person but I wanted you to also know it is working through your recordings.

My time with Lizzie, and everything your dad and all of you taught me about how to care for someone living with dementia has been an honor and a true blessing to me as we now navigate the same waters. I wish all of you a healthy and Merry Christmas and thank you all for the many gifts you have shared with me."
