This is an album of my original compositions. In 2015, I had the opportunity to spend a month on Grand Isle, Vermont on Lake Champlain and a month at Cannon Beach in Oregon. During this extended time, I listened back through some of my "musical doodles"- those melodies that emerge as one allows creative muses to inspire improvisation on a musical instrument. Sometimes, I have the wisdom to record those musical snippets and give a title that reflects a location or event. I chose some of those musical ideas and developed them into these pieces and with the help of Noteflight Online Music Notation Software saved these compositions. I hope you enjoy them!

Harp is my passion. I was always enthralled with the harp in "Jack and the Beanstalk". It wasn't until I turned 40 that I came upon Song of the Sea music store while on vacation and my dream was realized. I bought a small harp and began attending workshops studying Scottish and Irish Harp. In 2010, I competed for and was awarded National Scottish Harp Champion of America. ... more
